Discovering the Art of Motion.....
What if, for a while, we choose to surrender our opinions about what our body cannot do and instead commit to a journey where we uncover the map of our true potential?

Our practice builds upon the firm foundations of pre Pilates exercises to become acquainted with the body as it is right now, understanding both its limitations and its possibilities. These exercises have a sound anatomical base and adapt to meet the needs of the individual, creating a bespoke toolkit of body conditioning techniques.
As our understanding grows we begin to challenge ourselves with original Pilates matwork and extend our movement potential through embodied practice.
We embrace elements of somatics and dance floor work to expand our movement choices and increase the physical and mental benefits of our practice... balance, coordination, posture and movement patterning.

A little bit about me....
I originally trained as a dance teacher (Dip. L.C.D.D) and taught the Junior Associates of the Royal Ballet School for over 10 years in London, Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester.
Following the birth of my three beautiful children I became an apprentice of the Alan Herdman Teacher Training Course, Body Conditioning and Remedial Exercise. Based on the teaching and concepts of Joseph H. Pilates, graduating in September 2004.
I am deeply committed to continued professional development. In addition to the study of Pilates I also embrace other movement cultures such as Yoga, Contemporary Dance and Feldenkrais. This enables my teaching to remain versatile, relevant and informed.
